Lara was preceded in death by her husband: John Watterson Jr., her parents: John & Oza, nee Crain, Griffith, her son-in-law: Gene Holt, and her sisters: Irene Fischer & Jewel Swartz. She is survived by her daughter: Johna (Claudio) Della Corte of East Carondelet, IL., her daughter: Dona Holt of Columbia, IL., her son: Bruce (Becky) Watterson of East Carondelet, IL., her grandchildren: Dawn Schell, Brandon Ratterman, Jacob Lawson, Jessica Lawson & Angela (Patrick) York, her great grandchildren: Hailey Ratterman, Makayla Schell, Megan Schell, Emma York, & Skylure Barlow, her brother: Charles Griffith, her special friends: Eddie & Glenda Latta, she is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or American Heart Association.
