Laney Marie Kolb, 10 years old of Belleville, Ill, She was born August 2, 2007 in Belleville, Ill., and passed away on October 5, 2017 at her home in Belleville, Ill.
The love of my life Laney Marie Kolb aka Laney Bug, you are the most beautiful, toughest, strongest warrior. You will forever be in my soul. I will not be selfish, there are countless souls that she has touched. We are all very blessed. The amount of love is indescribable. At times overwhelming, yet grateful. Brother Tyler McIntyre is the unimaginable son/brother. He is the angel. Grandpa Bob, Laney's soulmate, you are Laney's angel too. Grandma Julie and grandpa Jerry, thank you for loving my daughter. She loved you very much. Everyone has friends, but Laney and Laney's mom's friends are unreal. Laney's family is a family that is incredibly supportive beyond limits. I can not list all family members, as Laney would get the entire paper. Kristin DeMond you heart is huge and filled with love, we love you. Laney's second favorite place away from home was Westhaven Elementary. They are everything. They gave Laney life and love, oh my gosh did they ever. Nurse Nikki took care of my baby for 7 years. Every single staff member, teacher and student loved my baby. Mine. Fly high my daughter, my darling, shine bright like a diamond.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 8, 2017, from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm, with a tribute to Laney beginning at 2 p.m., at Westhaven Elementary School, 118 Westhaven School Road, Belleville, Ill,
Arrangements are being handled by Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to two of Laney's friends with PKAN, one is Ashley Middendorf, make checks payable to Donna Helton the other is Sherelyn Cordero.
