L. V. Howard's Obituary
L. V. Howard, 88 years, of Belleville, IL, passed away on April 10, 2020 at Swansea Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Swansea, IL. He was born January 4, 1932, in New Boston, TX. He was married to Josephine, nee Zach, Howard, who survives him.
L. V. had been employed as the parts manager for Meyer Pontiac, Belleville, IL. and was a member of Teamsters Local 50. He was an avid houndsman and coyote hunter and fisherman.
Also surviving are his sons, Michael (Michelle) Howard, and Keith (Christine) Howard; step-children, Joel (Leslie) Winston, Robin Winston, and Kelly (Kelly) Winston; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Freddie Scaggs, Wanda Lepera, and Bettie Holmes; brother, Jimmy Howard, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton J. and Leona, nee Henry, Howard; brother, Wayne Howard.
Private family services will be held.
