Kevin Albert Schanuel Jr.'s Obituary
Kevin Albert Schanuel Jr., 32 years of Cahokia, Ill., passed away on September 12, 2017 at Touchette Regional Hospital, Centreville, Ill. Kevin was born November 21, 1984, in Belleville, Ill.
Kevin was raised in Dupo, Ill., by his parents, Kevin Alber Schanuel Sr., and Sherry, nee Hebel, Schanuel, Carl Nahlik and for a period of time his grandparents, Kenneth and Doris Schanuel.
Kevin was preceded in death by his sister infancy Courtney Schanuel
Surviving are his grandparents, Don Hebel, Coralee Doyle, and Kenneth and Doris Schanuel, his parents, Kevin Albert Schanuel Sr., and Sherry, nee Hebel, Schanuel, his siblings, Heather Hankammer, Donald Schanuel, Matthew Schanuel and Bridget Schanuel, nieces and nephews, Hunter Hankammer, Cooper Campbell, Lily Hankammer, Whitney Toohey, Jamiseon Toohey, Elijah Schanuel and Bryson Schanuel, along with other relatives and friends.
Kevin was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Hope Christian Church, 9273 Coach Stop Road, Columbia, Ill. The service will include an open mic time in which family and friends can share their memories of Kevin.
A meal and time of fellowship will follow the service at the church.
