Kevin Edward Portell, 56, of St. Louis, MO., born July 4, 1963 in East St. Louis, IL., died Tuesday, November 30, 2016 at his residence.
Kevin was a Hospital Administrator for many years at Kansas University Medical Center.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Russell Portell.
He is survived by his mother Jeannette, nee Osick, Barker, sister, LaDonne (Ronald) Mayberry, brother, Rusty (Melanie) Portell, nephew, Brandon (Lezlie) Portell, niece, Amber (Mike) Harriss, great nieces and nephews, Breanna and Brady Portell, Lucas, Olivia, and Logan Harriss.
Memorials may be made to the Elevator Fund at Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo.
Visitation will be Friday, December 2, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill..
Funeral service will be Friday, December 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., with Reverend Todd Mushaney officiating.
Private burial will be held at Bohnmeier Cemetery.
