Katherine Marie Gordon's Obituary
Katherine Marie Gordon, nee Wellman, 50 years of Sparta, IL, passed away on October 5, 2017 at her residence. She was born June 6, 1967 in Red Bud, IL.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Red Bud, IL. She worked as a custodian for Lincoln Middle School in Sparta, IL.
Surviving are her husband, Michael Gordon, her son, Doug Gordon, her brother, Steve Wellman her uncle, Rich Rensing, her aunts, Zinnie Rensing & Brenda Smith, along with cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew & Charlene, nee Willis, Wellman.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Red Bud, IL. and on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the church.
Services will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Red Bud, IL., with Rev. Benjamin Chapman, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery in Sparta, IL.
