Karin Lynn Whelan, 30 years old of Red Bud, IL., passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born December 14, 1987, in Springfield, IL.
Karin was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, IL.
Surviving are her parents, William & Linda, nee Linnertz, Guebert; her Brother, Scott (Susan) Whelan; her Boyfriend, Karl Byrd; along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Frank & Ardell Linnertz and Edwin & Nina Guebert; her Uncles, Larry Berg & Daniel Guebert and her Cousin, Beth Guebert.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 3, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church and on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, IL.
Services will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, IL., with Pastor Russell Koen, officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Red Bud, IL.
