Karen A. Shondy, 67 years, of Columbia, IL, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2010. She was born in Belleville, IL, the daughter of the late Hawert "Ham" and Beulah (Osterhage) Ludwig. She had worked as a Project Administrator at Jacob's Engineering, St. Louis, MO, and had been a member of Zion Evangelical Church, Millstadt, IL, where she had been active with the Women's Fellowship, Bell Choir, and the Z-Team, and the Columbia Women's Club (past secretary). She was married to Gary Shondy, who survives her. They were married on July 20, 1962, at Columbia, IL.
