Karen K. Mueller's Obituary
Karen K. Mueller, nee Ohl, 66 years of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at her residence. She was born October 10, 1959, in Belleville, IL.
Karen worked at Jack and Jill Day Care Center in Belleville, IL., for 15 years. She sang in the choirs at Hope Church and Union United Methodist Church. She loved horses, sunflowers and cardinal birds.
Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Larry Mueller, her daughter, Jessica (Chris Rensing) Grant, her grandchildren, Reine, Braden and Melody Grant, her sisters, Donna Berkemann, Mary Redden, Marsha (John) Schmittling, and Carol (Dale) Helle, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert (Karen G.) Mueller, along with nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Mueller, her parents, Robert and Adele, nee Carle, Ohl and her brother, Richard Ohl.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL, and on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 9:00 am - 10:00 am, at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday January 17, 2026, at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL., with Rev. Ed Weston, officiating. Interment will follow in the Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Union United Methodist Church, 721 E. Main St., Belleville, IL. 62220.
