Karen J Casey's Obituary
Karen J. Casey, 76, of East Carondelet, passed away Tuesday, November 9th, 2021 at HSHS St. John’s in Springfield, Illinois.
Karen was born June 19th, 1945, in Great Falls, Montana to Robert and Gladys (Cunningham) Corrigan.
She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, flowers, and float trips. Karen also loved Pomeranians. She worked for Holten Meat Company as a meat packer.
Surviving her is her husband, James Casey, children; Corrine (Tom) Volz, Bridget (Steve) Erchien, Ronda (Adolphus) Thompson, and James Casey Jr., grandchildren; Kayla Schmittler, Brandon Volz, Amanda Wright, Steven Erchien, Eric Erchien, Andrea Thielemann, Danielle Thompson, Kyle Thompson, Kara Casey, Aundria Webb, Scott Casey, Chelsea Eakins, Cassie Casey, Zachary Antoff, John, Jeremy, Joey, and Jamie Leach, along with numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Michael, Edward, Robert, and Butch Corrigan.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 13th from 1pm - 3pm at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Illinois. Memorial services will be immediately following the visitation at 3pm at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Illinois with Rev. Dan Batchelor officiating.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the donor’s choice.
