Judy Ann Nevois' Obituary
Judy Ann Nevois, 77 of Florissant, MO, formerly of East Carondelet, Ill., born, February 11, 1938 in Cambria, Ill., passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 in St. Sophia Health and Rehab Center in Florissant, MO.
Judy was a secretary for Centreville Township for 20 years. Judy had worked for Francis and & Joe Touchette and was very active in the St. Clair County Democratic Party. Judy and Robert were known for being the owners of the Brass Rail restaurant and Nevois Furniture.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Van and Helen (nee Lansford) Kemper, the father of her children, Robert Nevois and her 6 sons in infancy.
She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth (Thomas) Nevois-Bianco, Elisha (Kevin) Nevois-Akridge, grandchildren, Jewell Nevois, Helena Akridge, Sophia Akridge, Amara & Ava Akridge, her aunt Hazel Vancil of Michigan, and many other cousins, relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Research Foundation
Visitation will be on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral ceremony will be Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., with Father Linus Umoren officiating, with burial in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL following the services.
