Judith retired from teaching at the Riverview Gardens, Missouri School District. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church Columbia, IL., where she had been active with the women's groups of the church. Affiliations included Girl Scouting, advisor with the National Honor Society, cheerleading coach, the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, and had also served as campground host at Lake Norfork.
