Joyce Ann Mudd's Obituary
Joyce Mudd, 81, of Ruma, IL., born July 7, 1943, in Red Bud, IL., to the Late Clyde S. & Lorena A. Mudd, passed away on February 14, 2025, in Ruma, IL.
Joyce was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother, she loved spending time and traveling with family and friends, gardening and bird watching, especially hummingbirds, cardinals and blue jays. She enjoyed dancing and was in a square dancing group for many years. Her caring nature was always evident as she volunteered at the former Maria Care Nursing Home where she helped with Arts & Crafts and enjoyed visiting with the residents. Along with being a devoted homemaker she also was a dietician at the former St. Clements Hospital in Red Bud, Il. In her spare time Joyce could be found reading, doing word finds and walking in beautiful downtown Red Bud.
Surviving are daughter, Sarah (Terry) Donjon of Red Bud, IL; sisters, Lorna Moro, Arlene (Bernie) Uffelman and Janet (John) Krull; her grandchildren, Madison Mudd, Bryce Donjon, Hayden Donjon and Tim Donjon; sister-in-law, Janet Mudd; along with other relatives and friends.
With her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her brothers David Mudd and Stanley Mudd; her brother in law Danny Moro.
In honoring Joyce's wishes, there will be a celebration of her life memorial service at a later date.
