Joyce B. Krueger's Obituary
Joyce B. Krueger, 74 yrs., of Belleville, IL, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side. She was born in Belleville, IL, the daughter of the late Clifford M. and Doris M. (Green) Woodrome. Joyce spent her life serving the community. She was active in Concordia Church serving as a Sunday School teacher, Council member, on the Cemetery Committee, and in the Women’s Guild. She was active in the PTA for 35 years. She served as Millstadt PTA president, District 14 Director, Illinois PTA President, and National PTA Secretary and Treasurer. She received the Honorary Life Membership to the National PTA. Later in life she was active in the Optimist Club of Belleville. Her titles included President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Santa Parade Committee Chairperson. Her many awards included the Belleville Wall of Fame, Friends of Education Award from the St. Clair County Regional Office of Education, Those Who Excel, and the Dr. Martin Luther King Drum Major Award.
