Joyce Ann Demick's Obituary
Joyce Ann Demick, nee Buergelt, 65, of Millstadt, IL, born April 26, 1949 in East St. Louis, IL died Saturday, December 20, 2014, at her home in Millstadt, IL
Joyce was a dedicated employee for George Weber Chevrolet in Columbia, where she was the Comptroller. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Francis B Demick, her parents Herman and Lillian (nee Beckette) Buergelt, and her sister Lillian Mae Shaffer.
Joyce is survived by her son Richard Francis (Lori) Demick, sister Kathi (Dale) Haas, step-sons, Christopher (Belinda) Demick, daughter Jane Demick, Grandchildren, Haley, Taylor, Lane, and Brianna Demick, great-grandson Jaxson Hall, brother-in-law, John Shaffer, niece, Kim (Doug) Harry, nephew John Haas, sister-in-law, Helen (Donald) Hildebrand, many other family and friends, and by her beloved dog Katie.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Louis Pet Rescue.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Strauss-Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. with Father Marvin Volk officiating.
At Joyce request she will be cremated following the services.
