Joseph was preceded in death by his mother: Hilda Huebner, nee Hoffmann and his father: John Wildele, his grandfather & grandmother: Hugo & Anna Hoffmann and aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Mary Weldele, nee Mehrmann, his son: Michael (Sherri) Weldele, his grandchildren: Amber Weldele & Andrea (Mike) Brown, his brother: Calvin (Gladys) Weldele, his aunt: Iona Pfau, he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends. Joseph served two years in the Army from January 1951 to January 1953. Memorials may be made to the Lung Cancer Foundation.
