Joseph A. Christ, 75 years, of East Carondelet, IL, and formerly of Columbia, IL, passed away on November 13, 2010, He was born in Mascoutah, IL, the son of Alvin Christ of Belleville, IL, and the late Josephine (Rieder) Christ. Joe's past and present memberships and affilitations include; Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, where he had served on the Parish Council and School Board, was a Sir Knight for 44 yrs. in Knights of Columbus #6165 - and 4th Degree Assembly 1529, Loyal Order of Moose, Columbia Gymnastic Assoc., Columbia Sister Cities, American Legion, Midwest Truckers, Owner/Operators Independent Drivers Assoc., and Future Farmers of America. He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Reserves from 1953 - 1961.
