Jonathan "John" Joseph Mogg's Obituary
Jonathan "John" Joseph Mogg, 59 years of Dupo, Illinois, passed away on July 23, 2022 at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, Missouri. He was born February 24, 1963, in Centreville, IL.
John worked as a Paramedic with Dupo Fire and EMS since 1996. He previously worked with Abbott EMS, Williamson County EMS and Millstadt EMS. John was devoted to serving his community. John was also a life member of the Masonic Lodge #474 A.F.&A.M. and the Ainad Shriners. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his daughter, Bella. John was a member of the First Pentecostal Church, Dupo, Illinois.
Surviving are his Wife, Debbie L Mogg, Daughter, Bella Mogg, Daughter, Sarah Schultz, Son-In-Law, Matt Schultz, Mother, Donna Gordon, Step-Mother, Jan Mogg, Step-Father, Gale Gordon, Brother, Jim Mogg, several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward J. Mogg.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 2022, 5p.m.-8p.m. and an hour prior to the service at Leesman Funeral Home, Dupo, Illinois. There will be a fire department walk-through at 6p.m. and a Masonic Service at 7p.m. Services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 9a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home Dupo, Illinois, with Pastor Marshall Christmas officiating. Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Shriner's Children's Hospital, First Pentecostal Church of Dupo, or Dupo EMS & Fire Department.
