Jonathan "JT" Thomas Fowler's Obituary
Jonathan “JT” Thomas Fowler, age 45, of Millstadt, IL, passed away on December 10, 2025, at Memorial Hospital-Belleville. He was born on April 17, 1980, in St. Louis, MO, to Gregory and Mary Ann (nee Overmann) Fowler.
JT and his wife, Kathy, had two amazing boys, who were everything to him. They cherished their time together on the road and on the sidelines. The relationship JT shared with his dad was unmatched, with a special bond watching football together. He was devoted to his mother, brothers, nieces, and nephews.
Hardworking and resourceful, JT always extended a helpful hand to family, friends, neighbors, and strangers - who quickly became friends. JT worked in park maintenance with the City of Sunset Hills for 20 years. He took great passion in helping create and maintain beautiful parks for everyone to enjoy.
An avid outdoorsman and terrible golfer, he loved camping, fishing, and discovering the best foods served by the best people.
JT always dreamt big and was the “life of the party." His favorite quote, “Live, Love, Burn with Life, Slay and Survive,” perfectly describes how he lived and loved his family and friends without regret or abandon.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy (nee Miloshewski) Fowler; sons, Kanon and Jacob; brothers, Mark (Lisa) Fowler, Steven (Michael Dean) Fowler and Kevin Fowler; brother-in-law, Mike (Nicole) Miloshewski; sister-in-law, Christy (Ryan) Keech; nephews and nieces, Alex, Madison, Sarah, David, Joseph, Eve, Milo and Aurek; along with several aunts, uncles and many wonderful friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Gregory and Mary Ann Fowler; In-Laws, Fred and Janice Miloshewski; sister, Melynda Fowler.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm.
