Mr. Dougherty was preceded in death by his parents: James & Effie, nee Winkelmann, Dougherty and his brothers: James ôEddieö Dougherty, Thomas Dougherty & Kenneth ôBusterö Dougherty. Mr. Dougherty is survived by his wife Nancy Dougherty, nee Frey, his children: Justin Dougherty, Jill (Josh) Kleffner, Joel Dougherty & Jared Dougherty, his sisters: Charlotte Shields, Virginia Schenk, Mary Parr, Geraldine Wren & Joann Donjon. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mr. Dougherty worked for Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of Turner Hall and the Railroad Union. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
