OBITUARY
John W. Gregg
John W. Gregg, 90 years of Quincy, Ill., formerly of Waterloo, Ill., He was born February 10, 1927, in St. Louis, MO. and passed away on September 9, 2017 at Blessing Health System, Quincy, Ill.
John was a member of First Congregational Church in Dupo, Ill, 62239, Iron Workers Local 392, John joined the Iron Workers local in August of 1950 and retired in January 1992, he was a Mason and a Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Gregg; his father, John D. Gregg; his mother, Dorothy Boyles; and his sister, Mary Jane Bowman;
Surviving are two sons, John D. (Andrea Giles) Gregg and Patrick H. Gregg, two grandsons, Matthew (Sharon) Gregg and Ian Gregg, two granddaughters, Laura Gregg and Cassidy Gregg, a great-grandson, Connor Gregg, along with other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
At Mr. Gregg's request he will be cremated following the visitation
Inurnment will be in the Immanuel Church of Christ Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, IN.
