John G. "Jack" Fields' Obituary
John G. 'Jack' Fields, 78 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at home with his family at his side, following an extended illness. He was born in Washington, IN, the son of the late Francis B. and Mary O., nee Grider, Fields. He was married to Joan A., nee Holtgrave, Fields, who survives him. They were married on May 19, 1962, in Breese, IL.
Jack had been a local Realtor in Columbia, IL, operating Century 21 A.G., and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, where he had been active with the Knights of Columbus Council 6165. Many local folks will remember him from the shoe department at Weilbacher's Dry Goods Store years ago.
