John L. Elliott's Obituary
John L. Elliott, 84, of Columbia, Illinois, passed away at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. He was born in Carmi, IL, the son of the late Chandos and Ada (Brockett) Elliott. He had retired from sales with Electrolux Vacuum Cleaners and had been a member of Concord Baptist Church, 13775 Tesson Ferry Rd., St. Louis, MO. He served as a Navy veteran of the World War II. He was married to Lola (Sailer) Elliott, who survives him. They were married on September 14, 1952, at Carmi, IL.
