Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret ôPeggyö Mullen-Brummer, parents Paul and Mary Ellen (nee Devan) Brummer, Sr., and son John R. Mullen. He is survived by his sons, James E. (Diane) Brummer, Stephen P. (Kathy) Brummer, Michael C. Mullen, Mark T. (Alice) Mullen, daughter, Cynthia G. Brummer, brother, Paul Brummer, Jr., sister, Rosamond ôMickeyö Brummer, grandchildren, Mo Mullen, Caroline Mullen, Robert Mullen, Elizabeth Mullen, Jeremy (Megan Rebello) Brummer, Justin Brummer, Anna Marie (John Duhadway) Brummer, Ryan Brummer, and a great grandchild, Isabella Brummer. Jack worked for the railroad and was a retired Terminal Manager for CSX. Jack was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 6368 in Dupo, Ill, and Knights of Columbus, he also belonged to the Korean War Vets, Elks Lodge, The Ancient Order of Hibernians, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, IL. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
