John E. Coonce Sr.'s Obituary
John E. Coonce Sr., 68 years of East Carondelet, Ill., born December 1, 1949, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at his residence. .
John was a retired diesel mechanic for Bi-State-Metro. He was a United States Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Joseph and Myrtle, nee Roseman, Coonce.
Surviving are his wife Linda Coonce, nee Peters, his son, John E. (Cathy) Coonce Jr., three daughters, Kimberly Coonce, Melinda (Shawn) Thompson and Angela Coonce., two brothers, Bob Coonce and Leroy (Myong) Coonce, two sisters, Elizabeth (Bob) Maurer and Judy Todd, 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren along with other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.,with Rev. Dan Batchelor, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
