John Carle Sr. was born in Columbia, IL, son of the late John Carle and the late Dorothy (Lemen) Carle. He was the husband of the late Linda Fay (Wright) Carle. They were married in New Hanover, IL on August 22, 1964. She passed away November 9, 2005. John was a member of the American Legion Post #581, Columbia, IL, and honorary lifetime member of the Waterloo Sportsman's Club.
