JoAnn Louise Pollock's Obituary
JoAnn Louise Pollock, 88 years, of Columbia, Illinois, formerly of Belleville, Illinois, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023, in Columbia, Illinois. She was born June 14, 1935, in Ancell, Missouri, daughter of George Herman Peetz and Mathilda Eugenia (Hess) Peetz.
JoAnn was formerly employed as an x-ray technician at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, Illinois.
Surviving are her daughters, Terry (Ron) Rogers, of Aberdeen, Washington, and Tina Edwards of Winona, Missouri; sister, Martha Holzum of Columbia, Illinois, along with two grandsons and her many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by her son, Ty Cobb Schwach; sisters, Ruby Friedrich and Norma Simmons.
Memorials may be made in JoAnn’s honor to your local food pantry.
JoAnn gifted her body to science; a memorial mass will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were handled by Leesman Funeral Home in Columbia, IL.
