Joan L. Frederick's Obituary
Joan L Frederick, nee Koch, 87 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, MO. She was born April 16, 1936, in Belleville, IL.
Joan was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, IL., and the women's club at Sacred Heart.
Surviving are her daughters, Sherry Mayer (John Botzman) and Linda (John) Craig, her granddaughters, Allese McVay and Angela Mayer, her grandson, Brennan Craig, her great-granddaughter, Emery McVay, great grandson, Owen McVay, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles Wayne Frederick and her parents, Charles and Frieda, nee Roever, Koch.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, Il. Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Fr. Linus Umoren and Fr. Evaristus Akabueze, officiating. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Columbia, Illinois.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 , Sacred Heart Church 124 S. 3rd Street, Dupo, IL 62239.
