Jo Ann Barnes' Obituary
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years: John J. Barnes, her parents: Eugene G. & Clara L., nee Sutter, Kirleis and her brother: Allen Kirleis. She is survived by her children: Jennifer (Scott) Koopmann of Wichita, KS; Jeannine (Rick) Kochmann, Joseph Barnes, Joyce (Jerry) Tastad & Jodi (Michael Notter) Barnes, all of Millstadt, IL, her grandchildren: Michael, Alexandra & Chance Koopmann, Ryan Kochmann, Jake & Jordan Tastad, her sister-in-law: Dorothy Micnheimer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends, & her "Old Ladies." She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Mrs. Barnes was a member of Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, IL, AORN, Zion Evangelical Church Quilters, Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and Memorial Hospital Quilters. At Mrs. BarnesÆ request, cremation will take place after the services. Private burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL, at a later date.
