OBITUARY
Jerry Mills
Jerry D. Mills, 79 years of Dupo, Ill, born April 15, 1938, in St. Louis, MO., passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at his residence.
Jerry was a retired glass blower having worked for Obear-Nester Glass Company in East St. Louis and Anchor Glass Company in Warner Robins, GA. He was a member of Bluffview Christian Center in Dupo, Ill.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Myrtle, nee Taylor, Mills, his sister, Geraldine Cooper and his brother-in-law, Donald King.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Mills, nee Hooker, his children, Sherri Gulley, Jerry Mills, Michael Mills, Jeffrey Mills, Nancy Pogue, Steven Mills, Mary Beth Mills, Lisa Ngotsouvanh and Joyce Kimsey, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sisters, Shirley King and Ophia Mills, and he is survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Bluffview Christian Center, 201 Richard, Dupo, Ill. 62239 with Rev. Ron Hebel, officiating.
