Jennifer Lee McBenge's Obituary
Jennifer Lee McBenge, 39, of Red Bud, IL, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 at her residence. She was born November 13, 1983, in Saint Louis, MO.
She was a member of Life Church X in Columbia, IL. She enjoyed her current job of bartending at a local area venue where she could talk to everyone she saw. She was the friendly, outgoing, smiling face you would see around town. Jennifer loved to have a good time with family and friends and never met a stranger. When she wasn't working, you could find her going camping, hiking, floating, and anything to do with being outside or on the water.
She is survived by her two children; William "Billy" McPherson and Brooke Hermann, her partner, Chris Hermann, her four sisters; Darrah (Brandt) Nelson, Serella Temple, Amber Kise, and Anna McBenge, her bio-logical mother, Leslie Lee Stevens, her father, Cecil McBenge, her mother, Carolyn Ann Temple (Steve), numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 10:00 am at Life Church X, 9538 Caring Way, Columbia, IL 62236.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Kassina Steck and her grandmother, Pat Brown.
Arrangements were handled by Leesman Funeral Home.
