Janyce Lee Thurston's Obituary
Janyce Lee Thurston, age 82, of East Carondelet, IL, passed away at her home on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Janyce was born May 13, 1941 in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of the late Harold & Juanita Blaylock.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Phillip Thurston of East Carondelet, IL, her daughter, Kathy Totten of Dupo, IL, her sons, Michael (Vicki) Jerashen of Smithton, IL, Robert (Kristen) Jerashen of East Carondelet, IL, Gregory Jerashen of Belleville, IL, and Anthony (Camille) Thurston of Maryland, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and her loving puppy Zoe.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerret and Jimmy Trammell, her sisters, Janet Trammell and Judith Ann Koch and her great granddaughter, Alexuas Acord.
Janyce donated her body to Washington University Medical School. There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at her home on Saturday, June 24, 2023 in East Carondelet, IL at 12:00 pm.
