Janet S. Siburt's Obituary
Janet S. Siburt, 65 of Columbia, IL, passed away on July 23, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL. She was born April 14, 1952, in St. Louis, MO.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL. Although her health required her to reside at Columbia Nursing and Rehab. Center for over eight years, she remained an active member of her church. While a resident there, she became an advocate for the other residents. Janet was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the Cardinals, Rams and Blues. She was a retired customer service agent for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, St. Louis, MO.
Surviving are her four sisters, Judy (James) Utterson of St. Peters, MO., LaVerne (Barry) Hosp of Fairview Heights, IL., Rose Marie (Thomas) Kopp of Richmond Heights, MO. and Christine (Julian) Campos of El Paso, TX.; her six brothers, Thomas (Carol) Siburt of Union, MO., Roger (Betty) Siburt of Columbia, IL., Glenn (Maria) Siburt of El Paso, TX., Gary (Angie) Siburt of Waterloo, IL., Vince (Dana) Siburt of Valmeyer, IL. and Joe (Suzanne) Siburt of Columbia, IL., numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas E. & Rosemary, nee Engelmeyer, Siburt.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 27, 2017, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Fr. Carl Scherrer officiating.
