Janet A. Mueller's Obituary
Janet Adele Mueller, 80 years, of Millstadt, Illinois, passed away on July 12th, 2023 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born December 4th, 1942, in Belleville, Illinois to Raymond and Vera (Bailey) Baltz.
Janet married Orville Mueller on September 26th, 1964 in Columbia, Illinois, and he preceded her in death on November 6th, 2020, after 56 years of marriage.
Janet was a member of the Zion Church Sisters in Faith of Millstadt, Illinois. She volunteered for many years of dedicated service to the Millstadt Senior Center and Sandra Bereitschaft Foundation. She was devoted to spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her specialty desserts that included her sugar cookies and fruit pies. She enjoyed traveling, antiques and the company of her beloved pets.
Surviving is her son, Michael (Kim) Mueller, daughter-in-law, Marcia Mueller, sister, Gloria Baltz, grandchildren; Bradley (Abigail) Rolland, Abbie (Ronnie) Bates, Lindsay, Maggie, Norah and Gus, and great-grandchildren, Carson and Lane, along with many other close family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Mueller, son, Eric Mueller, brother, William "Bill" Baltz, and parents, Raymond & Vera Baltz.
Visitation will be Friday, July 14th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt. Services will be held Saturday, July 15th at 10:00 am with an hour of visitation beginning at 9:00 am at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt with Rev. Matt Friz officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Evergreen Cemetery, Millstadt, followed by a luncheon at the Zion Church.
