Jane M. Moeller's Obituary
Red Bud- Jane M. Moeller, 84, of Red Bud, passed away at 2:45 PM, Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Jane was born on March 1, 1937, in Red Bud to Walter and Alma (Ohlau) Guebert. She married Richard C. “Rich” Moeller on August 22, 1959, in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Red Bud.
Jane was a hardworking woman who has kept the books at Schleifer’s in Red Bud for more than 40 years. She was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Red Bud and was a former member of the Evening Guild. She was also active civically as a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Red Bud.
In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, baking and canning vegetables from her garden. Jane was an outgoing lady who never met a stranger. She enjoyed travelling with her family to Oregon, Branson, and Ohio. She liked bowling and working crossword puzzles and was a St. Louis Cardinals Fan. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband Rich Moeller of Red Bud, daughter- Lori (Kenneth) Langrehr of Red Bud, son- Brent (Becky) Moeller of Red Bud, grandchildren- Leslie (Mark) Froemling of Ava and Andrew (Jennifer) Langrehr of Red Bud, great grandchildren- Austin and Wyatt of Ava and Liam, Amelia and Ben of Red Bud. Also surviving are her sister- Carol (Rich) Junge of Marion and brother- Charlie (Sharon) Guebert of Red Bud as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 3, 2021, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Red Bud. Pastor Mark Nebel will officiate. Burial will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM, Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Leesman Funeral Home in Red Bud and from 10:00 Am until time of service, Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
