James Gary Toon's Obituary
James 'Gary' Toon, 65 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Louis, MO. He was born in Mayfield, KY, the son of the late James M. Toon, and Anna Mae (Bob), nee Higgins, Johnson of Columbia, IL. Gary was a friend to all, and helped any and everyone throughout his life. His family was his pride and joy, and he included all his friends as his family. His motto was, "To work hard and play harder... and never get too excited". He was the owner and operator of Hillcastle Contracting Co., and was a member of Operating Engineers Local 520. He was married to Jan M., nee Steele, Toon, who survives him.
