Mrs. Stuart, Steve and Kelly,
Please accept my condolences in this difficult time. Mr. Stuart touched so many of our lives throughout the years. I have many fond memories of PE classes, basketball games and everyday encounters at school. We always knew where we stood and that we were supported. May the many stories you hear in the weeks to come bring you comfort and peace. You all will be in my prayers. -Sue (Schmidt) Wilson (CHS class of 1985)

My heart goes out to Betsy, Steve and families. Steve's father was a well-respected figure in Columbia. He was fortunate to have made such a huge impact on so many lives. I know that he will be missed dearly.
To the Stuart family: Please accept our deepest sympathy. Sometimes changes in our lives are hard to accept. However, remember that God is in full control and we must praise his name and honor his decisions. We pray that your family will look to God for strength and the will to make it through your tough days that are yet to come.

I remember one year I went to buy a soda in the locker room. I put my 50 cents in and all of a sudden, the change dispenser opens up and all the coinage inside lands on the floor. My first thought was to pocket it, but I new Big Dad took care of the machines. So, the nice guy that I am returned all the money back except my 50 cents of course to Big Dad. So a few days later, Big Dad says to me: hold out your hand son. So I did, inside were at least 6 months worth of lunch tickets. R.I.P. MR. STUART!!!
Bye Coach.
