James Bruce Rowton's Obituary
James Bruce Rowton, Sr., 93 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. He was born in Rector, AR, the son of the late James and Maude (Chilcutt) Rowton. He was an area farmer and had been a Charter Member of the Bethany United Methodist Church, Columbia, IL. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. and was a veteran of World War II. He was married to Frances (Goddard) Rowton, who survives him. They were married on September 12, 1942, at Miami Beach, FL.
