James Oneal Mitchell's Obituary
James O'Neal Mitchell, 71 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at de Greeff Hospice House, St. Louis, MO. He was born in Fulton County, KY, the son of the late Chester and Nezie (King) Mitchell. Jim had owned and operated the Century 21 - O'Neal Mitchell Real Estate Office in Columbia, IL, and had previously worked at the Missouri Pacific Railroad, Dupo, IL, was a member of American Legion Post #581, Columbia, IL (services 7:00 pm Friday evening), Columbia Sportsman Club, and the Millstadt Sportsman Club. He had served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
He was married to Ruth Ann (Lark) Mitchell, who survives him. They were married on June 24, 1967, at Zoar United Church of Christ, New Hanover, IL.
