James Paul Meinhardt's Obituary
James P. Meinhardt, 77 years, of Columbia, IL, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2010. He was born in St. Louis, MO, the son of the late Edgar and Estelle (Yetter) Meinhardt. He was the retired owner/operator of St. Louis Carnival Supply, was an area race horse owner for many years, and spent most of his life raising and caring for his horses. He was a past member of the Columbia Gymnastic Association, American Legion Post 581, and had served as a past president of the Columbia Rural Fire Protection District.. He served as a Army veteran of the Korean War.
