James J. Jerome, 85 yrs., of Sunrise Beach, MO. He was born in East St. Louis, IL, the son of the late Maurice and Magdalena Josephina, nee Geppert, Jerome. James had served in the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He had been active with the VFW Post 5923, Camdenton, MO, and the Zack Wheat American Legion Post 624, Sunrise Beach, MO. He had been a member of the Knights of Columbus Laurie Council 10381, St. Patrick Catholic Church, Sunrise Beach, MO. He was married to the late Peggy J., nee Buatte, Jerome. She passed away December 4, 1992.
