James was preceded in death by his parents: Everett & Eunice, nee May, Jenkins and his daughter: Brenda Wheeler. James is survived by his wife: Carol Jenkins, nee Shryock, his son: James. L. (Karen) Jenkins of St. Charles, MO., his daughters: Sharon (Tim) McMillian of Columbia, IL. & Mary Mueller of Highland, IL., his grandchildren: Kevin Wheeler, Brian Wheeler, Adam Jenkins, Elizabeth "Libby" Jenkins, Bryce Mueller, Evan Jenkins, Bret Mueller, and Grant Jenkins, his sisters: Jane (Jack) Berry and Marie (Chuck) Kesler, he is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. James was a United States Marine Veteran. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Humane Society.
