Mr. Phelps is survived by his wife: Margaret Phelps, nee Jones, his sons: Christopher A. (Elizabeth) Phelps of Farmington, NM. & Corey A. Phelps of St. Peters, MO., his parents: Edward & Henrietta, nee Ballard, Phelps of Dupo, IL., his brother: Eddie Phelps of San Diego, CA., his sisters: Vickie Donnelly of Millstadt, IL. & Kim Jones of Maryville, IL., his nephews: Michael (Tracy) Donnelly of Millstadt, IL. & David (Rebecca) Donnelly of Rapid City, SD., , he is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives & friends. Mr. Phelps worked at White Castle in the Service Department for what would have been 38 years this September. He was a very dedicated, hard working and loyal employee. He was also a very knowledgeable person and there wasnÆt anything he couldnÆt fix or figure out a way to do something if it wasnÆt black and white. He also enjoyed classic cars.
