Jack Edgar Purdy's Obituary
Jack E. Purdy, 85, of Millstadt, IL, born September 21st, 1935 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on August 11th at Red Bud Regional Hospital in Red Bud, IL.
Jack was a member of the Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, IL and a member of the local Union #2.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne (Dennis) Purdy, and his parents, Henry and Mildred (Ramey) Purdy.
Surviving are his son, Jack (Rebecca) Purdy, daughter, Elizabeth (Larry) Branz, grandchildren; Tyler Branz, Nathan Branz, Kelsey Branz, Gabrielle Purdy, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 16th, 2021 from 9-10 am at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL. Funeral services will follow at 10 am at Leesman Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Jarvis officiating. Burial will be in Freivogel Cemetery in Millstadt, IL.
