Ivan M. Doyle's Obituary
Ivan M. Doyle, 89 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Oak Hill Care Center, Waterloo, IL. He was born in Vienna, MO, the son of the late Edward and Martha, nee Breeden, Doyle. He was married to Mickey, nee Gillispie, Doyle, who survives him. They were married on August 2, 1947, in St. Louis, MO.
After working with the railroad, Mr. Doyle opened and operated the State Farm Insurance Office in Cahokia, IL. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He had served in the U.S. Navy and was a Veteran of WW II, and had been a member of the American Legion Post 12, Vienna, MO, as well as American Legion Post 581, Columbia, IL.
