OBITUARY
Irene M. Fausz
Irene Mary Fausz, 100 years of Red Bud, Ill, born December 17, 1917, in Renault, Ill. passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Red Bud Regional Care Center in Red Bud, Ill.
Irene was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Renault, Ill. She was a quilter at the church and she cooked for all church picnics. She always loved cooking for her family and made a great breakfast for the deer hunters. Irene also enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Fausz, her son, Raymond Fausz Sr., her parents, William and Minnie, nee Meyer, Schmitz, her grandson Kevin Fausz in infancy, her granddaughter, Sherry Guebert, 8 sisters and 1 brother.
Surviving are Son, Norbert (Barbara) Fausz, her daughter-in-law, Helena Fausz, her grandchildren, Ray (Annette) Fausz Jr., Kenneth Fausz and Gary (Fiance: Stephanie Goepfert) Fausz, her great grandchildren, Clinton (Jennifer) Guebert, Brandon, Melissa and Justin Fausz, Heather (Eric) Nobe, Amber (Dan) Monterusso, Drew (Fiance: Heather Ford) Fausz, Amanda (Nick) O'Daniell, Brittany Rieke, Tiffany Rieke and Mariah Rieke, 12 great great grandchildren, her sister, Darlene Wetzler. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home, Red Bud, Ill. and an hour before the service on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Renault, Ill.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday August 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Renault Ill., with Fr. John Kizhakedan, officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Renault, Ill.
