Irene Louise Chronister's Obituary
Irene Louise Chronister, nee Francois, 88 years, of Red Bud, IL, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Red Bud Regional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Red Bud, Illinois. She was born February 14, 1929, in St. Louis, MO. She was married to the late Charles Chronister.
Irene was a home maker and former member of the Senior Center in Valmeyer, Illinois.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother David Francois.
Surviving are her daughter, Loreen (Keith) Crockett of Millstadt, Ill., grandchildren, Renee Grasle, Kenneth (Marie) Grasle, Annie Grasle, Brian (Robin) Grasle and Madison Crockett, 11 Great Grandchildren, and her sister, Marion Wheeler. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, 8 Executive Dr., Suite # 150, Fairview Heights, IL., 62208.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017, from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., and an hour before the service on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., with Vitas Chaplain, Royal Boeder, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
