Irene Casey's Obituary
Irene Casey, nee Kuni, 78, of Dupo, Ill, born October 5, 1938 in Columbia, Ill., passed away Friday February 10, 2017 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Irene had worked as a stand manager for Sports Services. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Dupo, Ill and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Cahokia, Ill.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, James Stevens Casey, her parents, Charles and Edna, nee Schlemmer, Kuni, her son-in-law, Larry Craft, her granddaughter, Samantha Popham, her siblings, Vernon Kuni, Ralph Kuni, Erwin Kuni, Charles Kuni, Eugene Kuni, Marcella Hoock and Helen Bivins.
Irene is survived by her six daughters, Linda (Doyle) Keys, Jackie (Mike) McGuire, Peggy Craft, Barbara (Glenn) Woldanski, Loretta (Joe) Durham and Juanita (John) Popham, her sister, Virginia Lindhorst. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Family.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., with Rev. Dan Batchelor, officiating.
Burial will be in Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery in Columbia, Ill.
