Both my husband and I carried mail in Columbia for over 12 years and Mrs. Pfau was one of our favorite patrons. She would always come out and greet you at the mailbox and even share recipes and taste samples of new desserts. She loved her yard and house and worked hard at keeping it nice. She was a lovely person with a sweet smile.
We will always remember our kind neighbor. She was loved dearly by our children who called her "granny." What an energetic, kind and wonderful person she was. You have our deepest sympathies.
