She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Dupo, IL, Order of the Eastern Star - Pride of Green Lodge #932, and the Ladies' Trainmen Aux..
She was married to the late Oren B. Counce. They were married on November 17, 1940, at Perryville, MO. He had passed away January 15, 1996.
